3rd Grade Discovers Ancient Rome in Vienna

On March 21, as a culmination to their reading and writing unit on Ancient Rome, our Grade 3 students went on an exciting and enriching field trip to the Rome Museum and on a walking tour of the 1st District where they had the chance to discover the remnants of Vienna’s old fortress walls.

The trip culminated with a tram ride around Vienna’s Ringstrasse, guided by their German teachers, where the students learned about Vienna today.

These are just some of the many ways the city of Vienna makes up our extended campus, with its many educational and cultural offerings.
