Cookies! The Musical

On December 7, our Grade 1 and 2 students performed Cookies! The Musical, sharing a powerful message about friendships across differences.

In Cookies! The Musical, written by John Jacobson, all the fresh baked cookies are happy to be hanging out with the rest of their batch. The Gingerbread People, the Ginger Snaps, Peanut Butter Cookies, the know-it-all Fortune Cookies, Oreo’s and many more. But wait! Someone heard a rumor that they are all being taken to a Cookie Exchange! There, they will be separated from their familiar friends and forced to live with cookies so unlike themselves! Alongside a cast of magnificent bakers and some rowdy puppies, the cookies learned the joy of meeting new friends who may seem different than them and celebrated new friends of all shapes and sizes!
