Realizing equity and inclusion takes deliberate effort. This past week, we hosted special Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) workshops for parents, board members, and staff & faculty.

At AIS Vienna we live our mission of empowering each student with the skills and character strengths necessary to be positively impactful global citizens who strive for personal growth and excellence in an ever-changing world. These workshops will help us grow as a community who feel more confident and comfortable with supporting our students, families, and colleagues to feel included and that they belong.

Ms. Tavangar’s visit was the first of three training sessions that will take place throughout this school year. We are excited about the work that has taken place thus far, and look forward to further setting and reinforcing expectations of what it means to be an AIS Vienna citizen in a community that embraces diversity, equity, and inclusion, building on the foundation of ethical character, purposeful action, and international mindedness.
