ES Play - Trees!
On November 17 and 18, Elementary School students performed the play Trees!, featuring performances by our ES music ensembles.
Trees! consisted of five one act plays based on books from our ES Library. Students told stories of friendships, determination, growth, destruction, and life. Each student ensemble was tasked with directing their own show. At each rehearsal, they learned about various elements of stage craft and technique, and they worked on applying them to their own storytelling.
Students sent a strong message to the audience with their fun and powerful performances, and were able to raise 1,247 Euro for the organization, One Tree Planted.
