Grade 3 Presents Flood Prevention Models

On November 22, our Grade 3 students presented their models on flood prevention. During their weather and climate unit, they designed a city to prevent and limit the impact of severe flooding. Our young learners used laser cutters and programmed lego dams for the rivers, along with SAM lab technology and coding iPads to create alarm systems with sounds for their cities.

The students were so excited to share their learning when presenting to their classmates and families.

Innovative learning experiences like these help our students become positively impactful global citizens who strive for personal growth and excellence in an ever-changing world.
