International Day of Belonging

On October 18, the Middle School Student Council brought together students to celebrate International Day of Belonging, aligning with the UN’s vision of unity. The day focused on fostering a sense of connection for everyone in our community. Students participated by pinning flags from countries they feel connected to, whether their home country, a place they’ve lived, or a location that feels meaningful to them.

At AIS Vienna, we aim to recognize and celebrate our complex identities and shared humanity. International-mindedness is a lived value that emphasizes understanding and appreciation for diverse cultures, languages, and perspectives. Through open dialogue and empathy, we foster a community of informed citizens with a sense of responsibility and respect for others and our world.
