NASA Chief Scientist Visits AISV

On February 15, Chief Scientist and Senior Climate Advisor, Dr. Katherine Calvin, paid a special visit to AIS Vienna.

Dr. Calvin visited with Grade 5 and HS students and gave insight into what her role at NASA entails, along with some of the projects NASA is working on.

Dr. Calvin advises agency leadership on the agency’s science programs and science-related strategic planning and investments. As senior climate advisor, she provides insights recommendations for the agency’s climate-related science, technology, and infrastructure programs.
