Romania Service Learning Trip

From November 13 to 17, members of the AISV High School Romanian Children's Relief Club embarked on a journey to Bistrița, Romania, to collaborate with Fundatia Inocenti – Romanian Children’s Relief. This incredible non-profit organization is dedicated to supporting children from disadvantaged backgrounds, empowering them to overcome barriers and thrive.

During their visit, our students volunteered at after-school programs, as well as with local schools and at children’s homes — creating lasting connections and meaningful experiences. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to the fundraisers leading up to this service-learning trip. The generosity of our AISV community fueled this impactful mission and made a real difference.

Our students returned with a deeper understanding of the power of service and the profound impact of community support. This is one of the many ways in which we empower each student with the skills and character strengths necessary to be positively impactful global citizens.
