Sharing Stories

Last week, our Middle School Spanish 3 classes showcased their creativity and language skills by reading their own story books to Grade 1 and 2 students. Our Middle School storytellers even illustrated their own stories.

This experience was not only fun and engaging for our Middle School students, but it also provided them with the opportunity to practice their Spanish language skills in a real-life context. Reading aloud to an audience requires not only fluency and comprehension but also pronunciation, intonation, and expression. The students were proud to share their work and excited to see the Elementary School students enjoy their stories.

For our Elementary School students, this was a chance to hear stories from their older peers and practice their listening skills in another language!

Overall, the experience was a great success and a wonderful example of cross-divisional interaction. We hope to continue this tradition in the future!
