UN Day 2023

We culminated our United Nations learning with a wonderful Elementary School assembly on Friday, March 24. Our UN and Sustainable Development Goal learning has taken place throughout the school year, with various activities and projects, and today Mr. Martin Nesirky of the UN Information Service gave an inspirational speech to our students. Thank you, Mr. Nesirky and UNIS!

The assembly began with a parade of 61 flags from the countries represented in our Elementary School and included amazing student instrumental, dance, and choir performances.

Thank you, as well, to our many teacher and parent volunteers who made the learning come alive for students. This UN learning ties directly to our mission, to empower each student with the skills and character strengths necessary to be positively impactful global citizens who strive for personal growth and excellence in an ever-changing world.
