U.S. Ambassador Michael Carpenter Visits AIS Vienna

Shortly before our Spring Break, U.S. Ambassador Michael Carpenter, the Permanent Representative of the United States of America to the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), visited the Middle School Model United Nations' class as a guest speaker and engaged students in a discussion about world events and how diplomacy and negotiation techniques are used to resolve and de-escalate conflicts. Model United Nations is a trimester elective class open to all seventh and eighth graders.
