Visiting Author Ying Chang Compestine

We were delighted to welcome multiple award-winning author Ying Chang Compestine to AIS Vienna this past Monday and Tuesday. Ms. Chang Compestine discussed her life, books, and writing process with students in Elementary School, Middle School, and High School.

Students in all three divisions were thrilled to have this opportunity to meet with a professional author and to learn how to draw from personal experiences as sources of inspiration in their own writing.

This is one of the many ways our teachers create experiential learning opportunities for our students to aspire, to pursue their passions, imagine possibilities, and make them real.
