Enriching our Theater Program: Custom Stage for HS Play

The Annual Fund enabled us to purchase a unique 'in the round' stage for the production of 'Radium Girls' and opened up an extraordinary learning opportunity for our students. This innovative stage design challenged our young performers to adapt and engage with their audience in a whole new way, fostering creativity, adaptability, and collaboration. The circular layout encouraged actors to explore different angles and perspectives, enhancing their spatial awareness and stage presence. Additionally, the stage's intimate setting promoted a deeper connection between the cast and the audience, allowing students to fine-tune their communication skills and emotional expression. This not only enriches our theater program but also equips our students with valuable life skills that extend far beyond the stage. It's a testament to our commitment to providing exceptional educational experiences at AIS Vienna.
