Sustainable Service Learning on our Biosphere Campus

The Annual Fund purchased trees and equipment to enable the Grade 6 service learning experience. Over the past few years, Grade 6 students have been working on a service learning project focused on “greening” our campus. This environmentally conscious initiative is an opportunity for our students to contribute positively to our community and planet.

This year, Grade 6 students worked in teams to help plant trees on the AIS Vienna campus. Our enthusiastic young environmentalists made a difference in our local Wienerwald biosphere to create a greener future.

Tree planting not only benefits our local environment but also provides valuable lessons in ecology and sustainability.
