AISV HS Speech, Debate & Acting Team Makes History in Zurich

Congratulations to our fantastic AISV HS Speech, Debate and Acting Team for making history in Zurich from April 19 to 22. Our HS students participated in 6 events (Debate, Duet Acting, Impromptu Duet Acting, Impromptu Speaking, Oral Interpretation and Original Oratory) at the spring NESDA (New European Speech, Debate and Acting Association) tournament at Zurich International School. Among the over 100 students from 10 international schools, each of our team members made it to the semi-finals rounds or beyond resulting in Gold and Student Choice Award for our HS debate team.

The team’s profound accomplishments highlighted their superior work ethics, sustained commitment, and the investment of countless hours of dedicated preparation and exhaustive practice. Our coaches were especially impressed with the HS students’ collaborative spirit, consistent support for colleagues, civility and respect for their competition, and unflagging professionalism.

These incredible achievements not only reflect the dedication and hard work of our students but also exemplify the academic excellence that AIS Vienna is known for. We couldn’t be prouder of their accomplishments on the international stage.
