Celebrating New Learning Spaces - AIS Vienna Theater

Continuing our celebration of new learning spaces, this week we celebrate our newly updated Theater. Our students are now benefiting from a new cutting-edge LED stage lighting system. This transformative upgrade from our previous halogen system is not just a leap in technology but a commitment to sustainability and artistic excellence. It significantly reduces energy consumption, aligning with global efforts to promote energy-efficient lighting solutions. It also greatly reduces heat from the previous halogen lights. The LED system ensures a cooler and more comfortable environment for both performers and the audience. This system has been specially rigged to provide our music department with optimal lighting, ensuring that every note and movement is illuminated to perfection.

The new modern lighting system not only reduces our electricity consumption in this area by an estimated 75%, but enables students to experiment with color theory in all of our theater and musical performances. It provides opportunities for students who may not be inclined to perform, but are interested in the technical side of the industry, to participate in the arts.
