Girl Scout Bat House Dedication and Bronze Award Ceremony

From January to June 2023, seven Junior Girl Scouts from Troop 84 worked on their Bronze Award. It is the highest award Girl Scouts can earn in 4th and 5th grade. To serve their community and take a little step to make the world a better place, they learned about local bats, built seven bat houses for the AIS Vienna Outdoor Classroom, and made this stop-motion movie to educate the AIS Vienna community.

On Wednesday, October 11, these seven Girl Scouts dedicated their seven bat houses to AIS Vienna and were presented with the Bronze Award.

Congratulations to these seven young learners on earning the Bronze Award! A great big thank you to them for serving our AIS Vienna community, being thoughtful in their interactions with the environment, and for making the world a better place!
