Grade 3 Researches Endangered Animals

Our Grade 3 students have been using their research skills during reading workshop to collect information on an endangered species. During their time in the Science and Innovation Lab, they have also learned about ecosystem changes that are impacting these animals' different habitats. Students have been connecting their learning on ecosystem change with their own research to design a system that helps their animal and its ecosystem to survive!

On June 6, they had the opportunity to present their research and solutions to the problems these animals are facing to parents and the Elementary School, collecting donations for organizations directly impacting the endangered animal they were learning about.
