HS Choir Performs in Carnegie Hall

Our AIS Vienna High School Choir performed in Carnegie Hall on December 1, 2024!

25 students and 5 teachers journeyed to New York City and united with a total of 250 singers to perform Handel’s Messiah in an annual concert organized by Distinguished Concerts International New York (DCINY). This was the 6th time Mrs. Heedles and our HS choir have been invited to perform with DCINY at Carnegie Hall.

Over the long Thanksgiving weekend, our AISV HS students and chaperones enjoyed three half days of rehearsals and three half days of sightseeing in New York City.

This is one of the many ways our teachers create experiential learning opportunities that help our students aspire to pursue their passions, imagine possibilities, and make them real.
