Student Led MUN Club at MUN Conference

This past weekend, October 13 and 14, our HS Student Led MUN Club participated in the Vienna MUN Conference organized by the Vienna International School. Our nine-student team participated in simulations of the Security Council (SC), UN Human Rights Council (UNHRC), and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO).

All students researched their topics to prepare, participated in heated debates and gave speeches defending their county’s positions. Our students contributed significantly to the smooth and productive operation of their committees and returned with accolades.

Two of our students won the Best Speaker Award and one received an Honorable Mention Award. Congratulations! They truly earned the respect of their fellow delegates for their achievements. It was a memorable experience for our students complemented by a large range of genuine learning outcomes.
