World Peace Day

Last week on September 25, our AIS Vienna Middle School celebrated World Peace Day! This special day was started by the United Nations in 1981 to promote peace around the world. To join the celebration, students and staff were asked to share what peace means to them. Everyone wrote their thoughts on little notes and placed them on a giant peace sign outside the Cafeteria. It was amazing to see all the different ideas! After all, as the saying goes, “Peace starts with a smile."
